So of course just as I left the T Bar Closing Party at Scrutton Sweaty Street, Soul Clap decided to play Extravaganza and everyone had an amazing life-changing singalong session and then I died.

When I first started seeing 'Off Key Hat' remixes about I just assumed it was the outcome of more off key hi-hats in tracks becoming a prevalent trend. This is much better.

So the lovely Mr My Panda Shall Fly remixes Josh Pirate 'RAVER4LYFE' Soundsystem's new track.

Expect gated synths and epic breakdowns.

Overlooking the remix from Hamburg-based label Mirau's Iron Curtis, fav pick has to be Alternity for epic bongo-laced deep house.

As featured in Soul Clap's Phonica DJ Chart, Space Dimension Controller's The Love Quadrant is literally a work of genius. At only 19 hailing from somewhere dingy like Belfast, this harks back to a time of Steves in Bromley & his equally epic Journey to the Core of the Unknown comes complete w/ Kyle Hall remix.

To sum up this track perfectly:

So usually if someone asks do you want to listen to some psychedelic IDM you'd say leave me alone you fucking hippie, but Oneohtrix Point Never is making it a bit interesting. Soaring off-key synths and layered bleeps make for an emotive ride.
